Hello, I’m Bridget and I have set up Bridget Clayton - Virtual Assistant with the aim of relieving some of the stress that comes from overwhelming workloads, whether it be for your small business or home office support.  I have a professional, positive can-do attitude, enjoy working with clients and making a difference.  I am both discreet and personable. 

 

Since graduating from Durham University 15 years ago, I have worked in demanding and challenging roles providing administrative support for senior executives.  This included seven years at an international investment firm in the City, providing support for a busy and pressurised team of fund managers and analysts.  This included achieving financial qualifications.  I left after becoming a mother and spent six years as a school secretary at a local prep school until its closure in 2020.  This in itself presented taxing demands that have hugely broadened my experience and ability to cope under pressure.

 

When one door shuts, another one opens and Bridget Clayton - Virtual Assistant was born.  I have loved getting to know a range of clients and their businesses and am considered to be a trusted member of the team.

 

Based in the Ashdown Forest area of Sussex, I am a mother of two children, two dogs and one very busy working husband in the City.  I understand the importance and challenges of maintaining a work-life balance.  By hiring me, you get to focus on what really matters, while you let me handle your day-to-day​ tasks.
